Captain Jamie Sheffler
Hello, I’m Capt. Jamie Sheffler, a licensed and insured Coast Guard OUPV Captain with a lifelong passion for boating. I grew up on the water in the Florida Keys, where I first learned to navigate and developed a deep love for the boating lifestyle. Today, I’m proud to call Naples my home, where I am a full-time resident and active member of the Hamilton Harbor Yacht Club. While I’ve been boating for many years, I know the importance of continuous learning. Years ago, I took the Coast Guard’s Boating Skills and Seamanship Course, but I often wish I’d backed that up with formal, hands-on on-water instruction. I’ve learned a lot from my experiences – some of which could’ve been avoided with more guidance. That’s why I’m excited to help you become more confident at the helm and avoid some of the same mistakes I made. Whether you’re just getting started or refining your skills, I am here to coach you through your boating goals. From basic boat handling to more advanced techniques, I’ll provide personalized, on-water lessons that help you gain the knowledge and confidence you need to enjoy your time on the water safely.
