“Get back to the Dock”- learn the basics of your boat, determine your exact location, start and stop the engine, throttle to plane, hold position, turn, and stop, avoid trouble spots, and understand Aides to Navigation.
“I’ve got this Captain Thing”- prepare for your trip by knowing the tides and weather, leaving and approaching the dock, tying basic knots, navigate to your favorite spots using your GPS Plotter, using auto-pilot, learn the Rules of the Road, set your anchor.
Helm Master- maneuver in crowded waterways or at low speed, understanding your VHF, more challenging docking situations (ie. Snook Inn), programming your GPS (e.g. Anchor Alarms), Troubleshooting Common Issues
